Special Assistant to CA Sayedur Rahman resigns
The information was announced yesterday (30 December) through a gazette notification issued by the Cabinet Division saying that his resignation will come into effect immediately.
Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman, chief adviser's special assistant for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has resigned.

The reason behind his resignation could not be known immediately.
Sayedur Rahman, former vice-chancellor of Bangladesh Medical University, was appointed special assistant to the chief adviser with the status of a state minister in 10 November last year. At the same time, he was given executive powers for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Nurjahan Begum is serving as adviser to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
