Jatiyo Party (JaPa) Chairman GM Quader has appointed former Gaibandha lawmaker Barrister Shameem Haider Patwary as the new secretary general of the party.

JaPa Press Secretary Khandaker Delwar Jalali confirmed the development while talking to The Business Standard today (7 July).

Barrister Patwary had been serving as a presidium member and additional secretary general of the party.

Mujibul Haque Chunnu expelled?

Mujibul Haque Chunnu, who was the secretary general of the party, has been expelled, BBC Bangla reports quoting JaPa Press Secretary Khandaker.
