Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation at 7:15pm today on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh-1428.

Ihsanul Karim, prime minister's press secretary, confirmed this to media.

Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television will simultaneously broadcast her address.

Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the Bangla calendar, will be celebrated across the country on Wednesday virtually amid countrywide lockdown.
