PIB director Ilias dies in a city accident
The injured motorcycle driver Ilias, 45 was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital
A person was killed and another injured when a truck hit their motorcycle on the slope of Jatrabari-Shanirakara flyover in the capital on Monday midnight.
The deceased Ilias Bhuiyan, 56, was a joint secretary and the director of Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB).
The injured motorcycle driver Ilias, 45 was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Officer-in-Charge of Jatrabari police station Md Mazharul Islam said, "The truck was seized immediately after the accident and its driver was arrested."
"Both victims were taken to Dhaka Medical College hospital after rescuing. Ilias Bhuiyan was declared dead by the duty doctor," he added.
