New PSC chairman, four members take oath
PSC and Supreme Court registrar office officials were present on the occasion, among others.
The newly appointed Chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) Prof Dr Mobasser Momen, and four members took oath this morning (15 October).
The four members are- Dr Nurul Kadir, Dr Mohammad Aminul Islam, Dr Mohammad Nazmul Amin and Md Sujayet Ullah.
Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath to the PSC chairman and four members at the Supreme Court (SC) Judges' Lounge as Supreme Court Registrar General Aziz Ahmed Bhuiyan conducted the ceremony.

The government on 9 October appointed Dr Mobasser Momen, a professor of the Public Administration Department of Dhaka University as the new Chairman of the PSC.
Previous chairman of PSC Md Sohrab Hossain and 11 members tendered their resignation on 9 October 2024.
