Chanting slogans demanding accountability for the Awami League, the procession marched toward Shahbagh, where several NCP leaders addressed the gathering
The National Citizen Party (NCP) staged a protest march in Dhaka this evening (12 November) against the Awami League's announced 'Dhaka lockdown' tomorrow (13 November).
The demonstration began in front of the NCP's central office at Banglamotor, with participation from members of the party's central convening committee as well as leaders and activists from its student, youth, labour, and women wings.
Chanting slogans demanding accountability for the Awami League, the procession marched toward Shahbagh, where several NCP leaders addressed the gathering.
In their speeches, the leaders said the NCP is not intimidated by the "fascist behaviour" of the Awami League.
They vowed to resist any attempts by the Awami League or its allies.
