Md Sarwar to serve as acting DMP commissioner

Additional Commissioner (Admin) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Md Sarwar, has been assigned to carry out the duty of DMP commissioner until a new appointment is made.
The Police Headquarters confirmed the matter through a notification issued on Thursday (26 February).
The move comes a day after Sheikh Md Sazzat Ali stepped down from the DMP commissioner position yesterday, citing "personal and family reasons."
