Ex-MP of Naogaon-6 Omar Faruk, 4 AL men arrested in Dhaka

The Detective Branch (DB) of police has arrested former member of parliament (MP) for Naogaon-6 constituency Md Omar Faruk and four activists of the banned Awami League (AL) and its affiliated organisations from different parts of the capital in the last 24 hours.
Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter.
Faruk was accused in multiple July Uprising cases.
