Educational institutions closure extended till May 30

The government has extended the closure of all educational institutions in the country till May 30 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Md Mahbub Hossain, secretary at the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the education ministry confirmed The Business Standard today.
But the institutions could conduct online classes, said the secretary.

Earlier, the government decided to extend the ongoing general holiday till May 16 and reopen the shops and shopping malls in the country on May 10.
As of Tuesday, the overall death toll from the deadly virus rose to 183 and the number of total infections stood at 10929 in the country.
