Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has lifted all check posts from three exit points of Dhaka from Friday midnight.

Mahmuda Afroz Lucky, additional deputy commissioner of Darus Salam zone, confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.

She said, people now can go to their villages by own or private vehicle or any other means, but public transport will remain closed as before.

We lifted check posts in the city's Gabtoli area as per the decision of DMP's high officials, Mahmuda Afroz also said.
