University student found dead in Ctg with stab wounds
The police official said investigators are yet to determine whether it was a murder, suicide, or a robbery attempt, adding that “all possible angles are being investigated.”

Police have recovered the body of a private university graduate bearing multiple stab wounds in Chattogram's Bandar area on Sunday night (19 October).
The deceased, identified as Shamim Maksud Khan Joy, 26, had recently completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from the American International University, Bangladesh (AIUB).
Originally from Barishal, Shamim had been living with his parents and other family members in the Boropol area of Bandar Residential Zone, police said.
Mahmudul Hasan, assistant commissioner (Bandar zone) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police, said Shamim had deep stab injuries on both his hands and legs. "Excessive bleeding caused his death," he told The Business Standard.
The police official said investigators are yet to determine whether it was a murder, suicide, or a robbery attempt, adding that "all possible angles are being investigated."
According to police, Shamim received a phone call on Sunday afternoon and told his family he was going for a job interview, but he left his mobile phone at home. His family could not say what might have led to the incident.
Local residents discovered his blood-soaked body inside a bush near the seaside along the Outer Ring Road in Anandabazar area under Bandar Police Station and informed patrolling police officers.
Shamim was first taken to a nearby private hospital and later shifted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His family identified the body around 2am on Monday.
Police said the body was handed over to the family after an autopsy, and a case will be filed with the Bandar Police Station after the burial.
