Abrar murder case: Anik gives confessional statement
A total of three accused have given their confessional statements until today
Anik Sarker, one of the accused in the Abrar Fahad murder case, gave a confessional statement before a Dhaka court today.

Anik is a student of mechanical engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet).

He hails from Rajshahi's Mohonpur upazila, and is the secretary of information and research affairs of Chhatra League's Buet unit.
A total of three accused have given their confessional statements until today. The two others are Ifti Mosharraf Shakal and Meftahul Islam Zion.
Shakal is a student of biomedical engineering and the deputy social welfare secretary of Chhatra League's Buet unit.
Zion, a student of naval architecture and marine engineering, is the sports secretary.
Majedul Islam, another accused on Abrar Fahad murder case has been put on a 5-day remand by a Dhaka Metropolitan court.
Chawkbazar General Recording Officer Sub-Inspector Mazharul Islam confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
