'Cholo Paltai' sells Eid market essentials for Tk10 in Bagerhat
"Cholo Paltai", a nonprofit, voluntary organisation, has sold essential goods ahead of Eid for the price of Tk10 each to residents of Kachua, Bagerhat.
The stall, set up this morning at the Goalmath Rasiklal High School grounds, was part of the initiative for the underprivileged which included a package of Eid essentials, each containing lachcha shemai, oil, powdered milk, sugar, rice, onions, and noodles.
Enamul Haque, founder of the organisation, said, "We are selling Eid goods for Tk10 to 520 families.

"We have included eight items in the Eid package, which are necessary for every household during the holidays. In the future, we plan to provide a Tk10 market in every union of Kachua upazila," he added.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer KM Abu Noshad said, "This organisation has been engaged in various developmental works in the upazila. We hope that more social organisations will step forward to do good work. The upazila administration always supports good initiatives."
