Twenty two newly appointed judges of the High Court Division paid a courtesy call on President Mohammed Sahabuddin at Bangabhaban today (5 December).

This was their first meeting with the President since their appointment to the High Court Division, reads a press release. 

During the visit, the President exchanged greetings with the judges.

Congratulating the newly appointed judges, the President said their appointments would expedite judicial proceedings in High Court, benefiting those seeking justice.

He urged the judges to dedicate themselves to enhancing the quality of judicial services and expressed confidence in their ability to resolve cases promptly by leveraging their skills and expertise.

In response, the judges assured the President of their commitment to upholding justice and ensuring its fair administration.
