2 motorcyclists killed in Gazaria road crash
Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident on Friday (4 July) after being hit by a bus in the Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj.
The accident occurred around 6pm in the Madhya Baushia area of the Dhaka-Chattogram highway.
One of the deceased has been identified as Mehedi Hasan, 29, son of Jahangir Hossain from Matlab in Chandpur.

The identity of the other deceased, aged about 30, could not be confirmed immediately.
Shawkat Hossain, in-charge of the Bhaberchar Highway Police Outpost, said, "Bodies of the deceased are in police custody. Locals detained the bus involved in the accident. Legal proceedings are underway."
Eyewitnesses said a Cumilla-bound bus of Tisha Plus Paribahan hit the motorcycle from behind, causing both riders to fall and collide with another bus in front. Mehedi died on the spot.
Sources at the emergency department of Gazaria Upazila Health Complex confirmed that the injured rider was brought in around 6:30pm, but he was declared dead on arrival.
