Motorcyclist killed after being hit by bus in Banani; driver and helper flee
Police seized the bus, but its driver and helper fled the scene after the accident.

A 45-year-old motorcyclist was killed after a bus hit him in the Chairman Bari area of the capital's Banani today (22 September).
The deceased was identified as Hasan Imam Sohel, from Cumilla's Daudkandi Upazila. He lived in a rented house in Mohammadpur and worked in the marketing department of a private company.
According to police, the accident occurred around 1:30pm when a Labib Paribahan bus hit Sohel's motorcycle. He died on the spot.

Banani Police Station Officer-in-Charge Muhammad Faridul Islam said police seized the bus, but its driver and helper fled the scene.
He also said the body was being sent for autopsy.
