2 killed, 9 injured in Thakurgaon road accident
Three of the critically injured, including a child, have been referred to Rangpur Hospital
A road accident on Thakurgaon-Baliadangi highway last night (18 March) killed two and left nine others, including a child, injured.
The deceased were identified as Arfan, 23, son of Amirul, from Madhupur village in Baliadangi upazila, and Joyonto Roy, 29, son of Deena Ram, from Chairman Para in the same upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahidur Rahman of Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station said the incident occurred around 8pm when a three-wheeler collided with a stationary truck at Lakhipur-Debadangi on the Thakurgaon-Baliadangi highway.

Joyonto Roy, a passenger in the three-wheeler, died at the scene of the accident.
A total of ten people were injured in the crash and rushed to Thakurgaon Adhunik Sadar Hospital.
Arfan succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital. Doctors referred three of the critically injured, including a child, to Rangpur Hospital for further care.
