Jamaat candidate Krishna Nandi suffers heavy defeat in Khulna-1

Krishna Nandi, a candidate of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, has been defeated by a wide margin in the Khulna-1 constituency, according to unofficial election results announced by the returning officer.
Krishna received 70,346 votes in the electoral contest. BNP contender Amir Ejaz Khan secured 121,352 votes to win the seat.
Krishna's candidacy drew attention during the campaign, including discussions surrounding his campaign narratives.
According to the Election Commission, the total number of voters in the Khulna-1 constituency stands at 307,103.
