Chattogram recorded an average voter turnout of 41.75% across its 16 parliamentary constituencies as of 3pm in the 13th national election and referendum held today (12 February).
According to information received from the offices of the returning officers, Chattogram-15 (Satkania) recorded the highest turnout at 52%.
In contrast, Chattogram-2 (Fatikchhari) and Chattogram-11 (Bandar, Patenga, Double Mooring) registered the lowest turnout, with only 31% votes cast as of 3pm.

Voting was held in a festive and peaceful atmosphere across the district. Polling began at 7:30am and continued uninterrupted until 4:30pm, after which vote counting commenced at the centres.
Unprecedented security measures were visible across the port city and the district centring on the election.
A massive security force of over 40,000 personnel ensured comprehensive coverage.
Although around 76% of the 1,965 polling centres were identified as "risky" by the administration, strict vigilance enabled voters to reach the centres without disruption. No major incidents were reported, and voters were able to cast their ballots peacefully.
A total of 115 candidates contested in the 16 constituencies of Chattogram, where 6,682,517 voters were eligible to cast their ballots. Of them, 3,483,000 were male voters and 3,198,000 were female voters.
Compared to the 12th parliamentary election in 2024, the number of voters increased by approximately 368,000 this time.
Around 40,000 trained officials were engaged in managing ballot boxes and election materials at the polling centres.
Geographically, the constituencies were divided into three segments for administrative convenience, with three returning officers jointly overseeing the election process.
