Israeli minister says ‘additional escalations’ planned after attacks on Iran’s oil facilities
When asked how long the war could last, Cohen said Israel has a timeline for reaching its goals
Israel's energy minister said the country plans further escalation after recent attacks on Iran's oil facilities.
Eli Cohen told Israel's Radio 103 that the strikes on Iran's oil facilities marked an escalation in the war and said "we will see additional escalations in the coming days."
He added that "all targets that will help us harm the current regime in Iran" are being considered, reports Al Jazeera.
When asked how long the war could last, Cohen said Israel has a timeline for reaching its goals.
"We know the time frame in which we hope to achieve all the goals we set. There is a plan in the war, there are developments on the ground," he said.
He added that Israel does not want "to be in a situation where in another year or two we will be in another round."
