UK will recognize Palestine if Israel does not meet conditions

The UK will recognize Palestine as a state next September unless Israel meets certain conditions. The announcement was made by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer after discussions with members of his cabinet on July 29. The meeting also discussed ways to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza and a new peace plan.
