Earthquake in Myanmar: Death toll reaches at least 1,600 so far
The earthquake has reduced the city of Mandalay in Myanmar to rubble. Two days ago, the earthquake killed more than 1,500 people in the country and at least 11 in Thailand. However, Mandalay is still shaking intermittently due to the aftershocks. Meanwhile, residents have rushed to search for survivors. In this situation, the country's anti-junta fighters have called for a partial ceasefire.
