4 killed in road accident involving three motorcycles in Madaripur
Police attribute the accident to excessive speeding

Four people were killed in a road accident involving three motorcycles in the Kutubpur area of Shibchar on Shariatpur-Dhaka road this afternoon (1 April).
The accident occurred around 2pm near the Naodobar roundabout of the Padma Bridge expressway, said Madaripur Superintendent of Police Md Saifuzzaman.
The deceased have been identified as Ramzan Sardar and Oli Khan from Shariatpur, and Hridoy and Mithu from Madaripur.
According to police, two motorcycles travelling at high speed collided head-on. Subsequently, a third motorcycle lost control and struck the injured individuals.
Two people died at the scene. Two more died while being transported to Dhaka for critical medical care.
Two other individuals remain in critical condition and are receiving treatment in Dhaka.
Police attribute the accident to excessive speeding.
