The US Trump administration has prepared a 21-point proposal to end the war in Gaza. Its main starting point will be an immediate ceasefire. The fighting will stop where the fighters are. The proposal calls for the release of 20 Israeli hostages alive and the handover of the bodies of 24 within 48 hours of the ceasefire.
