Ed Sheeran has broken his silence on the controversy surrounding his current tour during a solo concert in Philadelphia. He addressed Macklemore's removal, the withdrawals of several opening acts, Gaza, Israel, and the West Bank. Sheeran also criticised venues for attempting to preapprove performers or content, while a small pro-Palestinian protest took place outside the concert. Ticket prices reportedly fell to $32, with some fans also reporting refunds.
