12 million Americans to lose health insurance under US budget

The political heat is running high over the massive budget bill approved by the US Senate. The latest estimates from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) say that if the law is implemented, about 12 million Americans will be deprived of health insurance and the national debt will increase by an additional $3.3 trillion. This calculation makes the future of the Republicans' proposed "Big Beautiful Bill" even more uncertain.
