Post-RGB era: Cool new holographic fans to keep your PC temperature down
Coolify’s new holographic PC fans can show customisable floating animations

If your gaming rig is already packed with RGB lights and flashy components, you might be wondering — what's next? Coolify has an answer: holograms.
The company's new Holo Fans are more than just case fans. They are a mix of cooling and customisation, turning the inside of your PC into a moving display. Each fan shows floating images or animations, created by 96 spinning LEDs at the centre. From game logos to animated icons, users can upload anything they like.
But this is not just about looks. The Holo Fans still do what they are meant to — keep your system cool.
Available in 120mm and 140mm sizes, they offer solid airflow (up to 52 CFM) and run at fixed speeds of either 1,500 or 2,600 RPM. This steady speed is key to keeping the holograms sharp and stable. Despite the high performance, noise stays low at 33 dB(A) — quiet enough for focused work or long gaming sessions.
One of the clever design choices is how the fans handle data. Rather than relying on desktop software, which can slow down your system, animations are uploaded wirelessly through a companion app. This means fewer background programmes and smoother performance while gaming.
The fans also support visual syncing with system stats. Want a warning when your CPU overheats? Set your fan to show a red alert. Need real-time updates while streaming? You can set that up too.
At $45.99 each, they are pricier than standard case fans — but for those who care about both function and flair, the value is clear.
