After years of rhetoric on digital transformation, computer ownership in Bangladesh remains a luxury for the few, even as mobile use expands rapidly. As of 2024–25, only 9.2% of households own a computer – barely above 8.9% in 2023. At the individual level, the picture is no different, with just 9% of the population having access to one.
