BGD e-Gov CIRT organises workshop on bank audit techniques

The state-run Bangladesh e-Government Computer Incident Response Team (BGD e-Gov CIRT) on Saturday organised a training workshop on core banking solution audit techniques.

The workshop was held at the conference room of BGD e-Gov CIRT, reads a press release.

Members of BGD e-Gov CIRT, National Data Center and Bangladesh National Digital Architecture team participated in the workshop.

Sonali Bank's Chief Information and Technology Officer Mohammad Bakhtiyar shed light on the complexities of core banking solution analysis at the workshop.

The training workshop was inaugurated by Tariq M Barkatullah, director (CA Operations and Security) of National Data Center.

National CIRT has already started IT audit of financial institutions through Sonali Bank," he said.

"IT audit of the banks will start in full swing from this year," said Barkatullah, who is also the project director of and project director of BGD e-Gov CIRT.
