Investors have poured large sums into early-stage startups building defenses against AI-driven cyberattacks.
Venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz and Accel co-led the funding round, which drew participation from new backers Bain Capital Ventures and Redpoint. Existing investors, including Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Menlo Ventures, and In-Q-Tel, also joined the round.
The latest capital injection lifted the startup's total funding to $445 million, Armadin said.
The company plans to deploy the fresh capital to scale its platform, expand research initiatives, enhance training, and bolster its go-to-market operations.
Armadin deploys a swarm of autonomous artificial intelligence agents that simulate hacker tactics to identify system vulnerabilities.
The cybersecurity company was founded by CEO Kevin Mandia, who previously founded Mandiant before selling the firm to Google.
