Tamim XI bat first in 'Do or Die' match

Tamim XI won the toss and elected to bat first against Mahmudullah XI  in the fifth BCB President's Cup match at Mirpur. This is a must win game for both the teams.
Mahmudullah XI is playing their last group stage match today. If they win this, they will keep their hopes alive and have to wait for the last match between Najmul XI and Tamim XI on Wednesday. However, if they lose today, they will be out of the tournament.
Tamim XI on the other hand, if they win today will cement their place in the all important final. But if they lose, they will have another chance when they face Najmul XI in the final group stage match.
Both teams have made changes to their playing eleven. Tamim XI left out Under-19 stars Shahadat Hossain Dipu, Shoriful Islam and Akbar Ali. Test skipper Mominul Haque along with Sumon Khan and Aminul Islam Biplob sit out for Mahmudullah XI.

Both teams have won a match each and are level on point table.Tamim XI have better net run-rate.
Najmul XI have somewhat booked their place in the final with two wins from their three matches.
Mahmudullah XI beat Tamim XI by 5 wickets when the two teams faced each other few days back.
