Mustafizur reveals why he likes playing T20s: ‘I enjoy the pressure’

Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman said he likes T20s because there is more pressure in it than any other format in cricket.
A reliable bowler in the slog overs, Mustafizur mostly bowls the tough overs in T20 cricket and his array of variations makes him a tough opponent for the batters.
Mustafizur, lovingly known as "The Fizz", lit up the Indian Premier League (IPL) recently for the Chennai Super Kings and his deceptive cutters on Chepauk's slow surface troubled a host of big-hitting batters.
"There is more pressure in this format," Mustafizur said in a Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) video recently. "Probably that's why I love this format. I enjoy the pressure [situations]."
The left-arm seamer is not the bowler he was a few years ago with the surprise factor but is still a sought-after player in the T20 circuit.
With the T20 World Cup taking place next month, Mustafizur will be keen to use his experience and help Bangladesh notch up some good results.
"Playing for the country is always a matter of pride. I always enjoy playing for Bangladesh. I think a player is called a big player when he wins major trophy for the country. That's one regret I have," the seamer stated.
Mustafizur, who recently reached the 300-wicket mark in T20 cricket, said he is willing to share his knowledge with the other members of the fast-bowling group.
"I will share whatever knowledge I have with Taskin [Ahmed],Shoriful [Islam], [Mohammad] Saifuddin and Hasan Mahmud so that we can collectively improve," he added.
