Bangladesh secured the ODI series victory over New Zealand today (23 April), winning the three-match series 2-1 with a commanding 55-run triumph in the decider.
The victory marks Bangladesh's first series win against the Kiwis in 12 years and comes with a record, as it is their largest win by runs against New Zealand in ODIs. Their previous biggest victory over the visitors was by 43 runs in Mirpur in 2013.
