Bangladesh bowled out for 109, Afghanistan clinch series with 81-run win
Bangladesh have now lost 10 of their last 11 ODIs.

Afghanistan sealed the series with a match to spare. Rashid Khan brought Bangladesh's innings to an end by stumping Rishad Hossain, completing his five-wicket haul. The Afghan leg-spinner finished with figures of 8.3–2–17–5. With this defeat, Bangladesh have now lost four consecutive ODI series, a streak that began last year with a loss to Afghanistan in the UAE. It also marks Bangladesh's third successive ODI series defeat to Afghanistan.
Chasing a target of 191, Bangladesh were bowled out for 109 in 28.3 overs, their lowest total against Afghanistan in ODIs. Only four Bangladeshi batters managed to reach double figures, with Tawhid Hridoy top-scoring with 24 runs. Bangladesh have now lost 10 of their last 11 ODIs.
Bangladesh lost their first wicket without scoring and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. At one stage, they were 99 for 5, but from there collapsed dramatically — losing three wickets on 99, another at 100, and the final one at 109.
The final match of the series will be played on 14 October.
