Bangladesh to battle Myanmar, Bahrain and Turkmenistan for Asian Cup spot
The qualifiers are set to take place from 23 june to 5 july, with the eight group winners securing their spots in the final tournament.

Bangladesh have been placed in Group C alongside Myanmar, Bahrain, and Turkmenistan for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers following the draw held today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A total of 34 teams have been divided into eight groups, with six groups containing four teams and two groups comprising five. The qualifiers will be hosted by Cambodia, Indonesia, Jordan, Myanmar, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
In Group A, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Singapore, and Bhutan will battle for qualification, while Thailand, India, Mongolia, Timor-Leste, and Iraq make up Group B. Bangladesh's Group C opponents—Myanmar, Bahrain, and Turkmenistan—will compete for a single place in the final tournament.
Group D consists of Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Kyrgyz Republic, and Pakistan, while Vietnam, Guam, United Arab Emirates, and Maldives will compete in Group E. Uzbekistan, Nepal, Laos, and Sri Lanka will face off in Group F.
Group G features the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Cambodia, and Saudi Arabia, whereas DPR Korea, Malaysia, Palestine, and Tajikistan are in Group H.
