SHALA Neighbourhood Art Space announces creative fellowship
SHALA Neighbourhood Art Space has opened applications for its Creative Fellowship 2025, inviting artists, researchers, and creative practitioners to explore the evolving urban landscape of Tejgaon Industrial Areas.
The fellowship aims to foster collaboration, participatory research, and artistic interventions to document and reimagine the future of Dhaka's neighbourhoods, said a press release.
The 12-week programme, running from March to June 2025, focuses on three themes – Walkability, Water Sources, and Creative City. Fellows will receive a stipend of up to Tk50,000 and gain access to SHALA's space and mentorship network.
The final projects will be showcased in July 2025 as part of SHALA's growing living archive.

Applicants aged 18-35 with a passion for urban research and community engagement are encouraged to apply.
