Ozzy Osbourne documentary pulled following family’s request
A BBC One documentary about Ozzy Osbourne has been pulled from its schedule at the request of the late rocker's family. 'Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home' was due to air on 18 August, but the broadcaster said it would wait "a bit longer" out of respect.
The film, produced by 'Expectation TV', was shot over three years and promised an "intimate and inspirational" look at Osbourne's final chapter, including his return to the UK after decades in Los Angeles. It features interviews with his wife, Sharon, and children, Jack and Kelly.
Osbourne died on 22 July at the age of 76, just 17 days after performing his last concert in Birmingham. The farewell show, Back to the Beginning, featured tributes from Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer and others. His family confirmed he died of a heart attack, asking for privacy as they mourn their "beloved Ozzy."
