With over 30 million installations on smartphones, the MyGP app has revolutionized how users interact with Grameenphone's services, offering seamless access to a range of features, including account management, service customization, and real-time notifications. From one-tap payments to streaming content, the app digitizes 99% of the company's offerings, becoming the largest local self-service app. Users can complete transactions without a data balance and access emergency balance services in collaboration with mobile financial partners.

With the vision of becoming a one-stop solution, Grameenphone has consistently enhanced the app to cater to customers' evolving needs and make it even simpler, easier, and offer greater value for customers every day. During the pandemic, the app enabled live streaming of classes, ensuring uninterrupted education for students. Additionally, MyGP has become a go-to platform for entertainment, offering live score updates and streaming major sporting events, including the Cricket World Cup, through partnerships with over ten OTT platforms right at the fingertips.

With its advanced, cloud-native architecture, MyGP can process up to 8,000 transactions per second, serving over 20 million monthly active users. The app's latest update, MyGP 5.0, brings a more intuitive user experience, driven by feedback from hundreds of customers, resulting in a substantial boost in engagement.

Solaiman Alam, Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Grameenphone, said, "We are thrilled to receive the Asian Technology Excellence Awards. This recognition underscores our commitment to digital innovation and delivering customer-centric solutions. MyGP is more than just a sales and services app. It's a platform that empowers our users, setting new standards in service delivery and technological advancement on the go. This award inspires us to continue to innovate and enhance our services and provide our customers with an enriched digital experience by focusing on what truly matters to our customers."

Niranjan Srinivasan, Chief Information Officer (CIO), Grameenphone, said, "We are honored to receive the Asian Technology Excellence Award. This highlights our dedication to enhancing user experiences through technology. MyGP, developed entirely in Bangladesh by local talents, is designed with our customers' needs at heart.
