Govt promotes defence secretary to senior secretary

The government today has promoted Defence Secretary Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury to the senior secretary of the Ministry of Defence.
The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a gazette notification in this regard.
Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury joined the Ministry of Defence on January 12, 2020 as defence secretary. Prior to that, he served as a secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
