Expats in UAE can now remit money to Bank Asia accounts within minutes

The Bank Asia Limited has recently partnered with RakBank, one of the most dynamic institutions in the United Arab Emirates' banking sector, to help the Bangladeshi expatriates in that region remit money to Bangladesh within minutes.

RakBank's RakMoneyTransfer (RMT) service, a real-time remittance solution, now facilitates money transfer to Bank Asia accounts within minutes, said a press statement on Sunday.

Leveraging the latest technology, this remittance solution to Bangladesh will remain free of charge until June 30 this year, and customers can send money to their families quickly.

Bank Asia President and Managing Director Md Arfan Ali said, "We are happy to partner with RakBank to offer this instant remittance solution to our expatriates.

This solution is going to mark a new chapter in the history of remittance payment in our country."

"Considering the current Covid-19 pandemic, we have jointly waived remittance charge to help our expats remit money easily to their beloved families," he added.

RakBank CEO Peter England said, "We want to bring peace in the mind of Bangladeshi expatriates during this challenging time by offering them a unique and comprehensive remittance solution."
