BCB cautious with selling tickets amid coronavirus concerns

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to limit ticket sales for the T20I series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

Earlier on Sunday, The Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) announced that three Bangladeshis, including two Italy-returnees, were tested positive with the novel coronavirus.

BCB is also concerned about the fact, and as a result, they decided on limiting the number of tickets sold to a single spectator.
BCB Media Manager Rabeed Imam confirmed The Business Standard that it was only a security precaution from the board.
"This is a security measure. The decision is not that the board want to sell fewer tickets. But one spectator will not get more than one ticket. Everywhere the security precautions have been beefed up. BCB is also no exception" said Rabeed.
Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will lock horns in the first T20 match of the series today at Mirpur. The match starts at 6 pm.
