Seventeen employees of Grameen Bank filed 17 separate cases on February 2 against the bank founder Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus for not sharing profit with them. 

Judge Rahibul Islam of Dhaka Third Labour Court set March 23 for hearing. 

The plaintiffs are- Kazi Firoz Sony, Moniruzzaman, Robiul Islam, Abu Naim Bayzid, Billal Hossain, Sadman Sakib, Junayed Hossain, Mofassal, Mahmudul Hasan Sujon, Mostafijur Rahman Milon, Sadikur Rahman, Aminul Haque, Sabina Yasmin, Basir Uddin, Rezaul Karim, Hafizur Rahman and Shariful Islam.

A total of 107 cases were filed against Dr Yunus at different times in this connection. 

On January 5, Tariqul Islam, an inspector (general) of the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments, filed a case against the four people, including Nobel Laureate economist Dr Yunus, over violations of 10 rules of the labour law.
