"Yes, it is the best year of my ten-year career as well as for the country's archery. Now my dream is to win a medal in the Olympics," said the country's top archer.

He thanked the archery federation, his coach, his teammates and Ansar and VDP.

Sana said, his coach's contribution to him cannot be expressed in words.

"Without him, it would have been impossible to move forward", added Sana.

Sohel Rana who won a gold medal in the men's compound singles, in his immediate reaction said: "Archery is my Passion."

The archer hailed from Chapainawabganj said he is a proud member of the Bangladesh army and toiled hard to come in this stage.

Soma Biswas who won the day's first gold in the women's compound singles event said it was hard to believe that she finally won gold for the country.

"I even did not dream that I will play the final and win gold in the SA games," said the overwhelmed Soma in her immediate reaction,"… still, I can't believe."

The stand-in player of the team Soma, also thanked her coach as the coach's contribution helped her to reach this level.

Soma was proud to represent her country and she thanked the Almighty for the opportunity.

Ety Khatun who won another gold in the women's recurve singles event, said: "My target was to win gold in this event, which I have achieved finally."

She, however, admitted that it was beyond her expectation to win gold in the SA Games.

Ety said she was able to play naturally and without nervousness as everyone was supporting her during the play.
