Garment workers have blocked the Mirpur-10 intersection in the capital since morning demanding more holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The blockade has caused huge traffic jam around the area.

Sources said, workers of Hamim Garments have been trying to vandalise all the factories in the area since this morning. Other factory workers in Mirpur-14 are also joining the protesting workers.
