Director Jhantu said, "Tumi Acho, Tumi Nei is my upcoming film, which will hit theatres on Friday. We recently released a three minute trailer of the film on social media. Dighi, the lead actress of our movie made offensive comments on social media against the movie. Such comments will hamper positive marketing for the film and as a result target profit will be under risk."

It is true that the actress is currently facing lots of trolls and hate comments for the trailer of her movie.  Many have commented on the trailer's official page that they want their mobile data, money back upon watching the trailer.

Director Jhantu defended the trailer saying, "The trailer has been wonderfully done. "

"As an actress, she should not have judged the whole movie based on the 3 minute trailer," Jhantu told The Business Standard.

Regarding the case, Jhantu said that "According to my lawyers, Dighi could face at least two years in jail and pay fine in the case."

The director has claimed that he has directed 83 films and no other actress has dared to say anything like that.

"An actress like Dighi who has made such negative comment about her first film has truly disheartened me." The director added.

The Business Standard team also tried to get comment from the actress but she denied to comment anything on the matter. She only said that she only hopes the best for the movie and that it does well in the theaters.

"Tumi Acho, Tumi Nei" starring Dighi will be released in 30 cinemas across the country on Friday.
