A three-day laptop fair titled "ESET Laptop Fair 2019" will begin in the capital on Thursday.

The expo, to be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC), is aimed at creating greater interaction among buyers and sellers under one roof.

The fair's organiser, Expo Maker, made the announcement on Monday evening at a press conference at a city hotel.

The organisers said around 30 local and international technology brands will showcase different types of laptops and computer accessories at the fair.

The event will remain open from 10am to 8pm every day, and the entry fee is Tk30.

Real-time updates, news and pictures of the expo will be posted on its official Facebook event page (facebook.com/events/2348034762137380) and tech news website techshohor.com.

Managing Director of Star Tech and Engineering Ltd Mahabul Alam Rakib, Business Development Manager of Asus Global Pvt Ltd Md Al Fuad, Marketing Manager of Dell Bangladesh Protap Saha, Business Development Manager of HP Bangladesh Mohammad Kawsar Ahmed, Sales Manager of Lenovo Rashed Kabir and Stategic Planner of Expo Maker Muhammad Khan were present at the press conference, among others.

Cyber security company ESET is the title sponsor of the 21th edition of the fair, while Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo are the co-sponsors.

Besides, Kaspersky is the cyber security partner. Other partners are techshohor and EduMaker.
