Like previous years, Hakimpuri Jarda owner Md Kaus Miah has once again been named the highest taxpayer for the 2019-20 tax year.

The 90-year-old has been voted among the best taxpayers in the businessmen category.

The safe food authorities last year ordered the removal of a consignment of Kaus' popular chewing tobacco brand from the market due to the presence of excessive lead.
