DU to reopen halls for masters’ students in March

The authorities of Dhaka University have decided to partially reopen the halls for the students of masters in the first week of March.
The Provost Standing Committee of the university today recommended the reopening, Pro-Vice Chancellor (academic) Professor Maksud Kamal confirmed the matter to The Business Standard on Tuesday night.
However, students have to leave the halls once their exams are over. In the next step, the honors final year students will be able to get up in halls.
Due to the coronavirus situation, normal educational activities of Dhaka University, like other educational institutions in the country, have been closed since mid-March last year.
