The Third China International Import Expo-2020 was held from November 5 to 10 in Shanghai, the largest city of the country and an important business hub of the world.

Chinese President Xi Jinping inaugurated the expo through video conferencing on the opening day. Due to concern over the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, exhibitions were arranged both online and offline.

Commerce ministry of China and Shanghai municipality authorities jointly organized the exhibition at the National Conference and Exhibition Center of the city.
