Donald Trump has vowed not to concede the election at this point and is forging ahead with a litany of lawsuits in several battleground states where Biden led by a razor-thin margin.

As Joe Biden was moving closer to victory with a clear lead in key states like Pennsylvania and Nevada, Trump tweeted claiming victory.

Little before Sunday midnight, Edison Research and the major US television networks on Saturday projected Biden's victory over the Republican Trump.

In his first tweet reaction followed by the media declaration of election 2020 result in the US, Trump repeated unfounded claims of election fraud and suggested votes for his Democratic rival were not legal.

States like - Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Georgia - Trump campaign alleged instances of illegally counted votes that showed up after Election Day and claimed that the poll watchers were blocked from observing the counting.

He wrote: "THE OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE COUNTING ROOMS. I WON THE ELECTION, GOT 71,000,000 LEGAL VOTES. BAD THINGS HAPPENED WHICH OUR OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO SEE. NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. MILLIONS OF MAIL-IN BALLOTS WERE SENT TO PEOPLE WHO NEVER ASKED FOR THEM!"

He soon followed up with another tweet: "71,000,000 Legal Votes. The most EVER for a sitting President!"
